DOCSMONETIZATION
Moving from Vimeo On Demand to EYZFlow
Updated 31 October 2026
Vimeo On Demand stopped accepting new purchases and subscriptions on 21 September 2026 and is scheduled to shut down completely on 20 November 2026, including existing VOD storefronts. If you sell films there, EYZFlow can help you prepare a new branded destination for your catalogue.
Migration at a glance
A migration involves three main stages:
- Review your catalogue. Assess your films, metadata and available assets. This identifies the requirements and any preparation needed before the transition.
- Set up your storefront. Prepare your content, configure your branded store, and establish your rental and payment setup. For more information, see Storefronts: create and configure.
- Launch and manage. Review the storefront, checkout and playback experience before going live. After launch, manage your catalogue, customers and sales from one central platform.
What you need to prepare
You can create a new EYZFlow catalogue from the materials available to you, including:
- Video masters
- Artwork
- Subtitles
- Trailers
- Metadata
EYZFlow reviews your existing assets and technical requirements before confirming the migration scope and process. No specialist video-engineering knowledge is required: EYZFlow handles the technical workflows behind video ingest, encoding, hosting and secure playback. You provide the film materials and configure the commercial information for your storefront.
What cannot be transferred automatically
Existing Vimeo On Demand purchases, viewing histories and customer entitlements cannot be transferred automatically to another platform. You can plan a relaunch and discuss appropriate ways to inform or reconnect with your audience, provided you have the required permissions and may use the relevant data.
What the standard subscription includes
The monthly subscription includes:
- A branded web storefront
- Catalogue management
- Supported payment integration
- Standard video processing
- Hosting within agreed allowances
- DRM-protected playback
- Customer accounts
- Essential operational tools
Pricing is based on the number of active films in your catalogue. Payment-provider transaction fees and additional usage charges apply separately.
Supported business models and apps
The standard TVOD Storefront package focuses on individual film rentals through a branded web storefront. If you need subscriptions, digital purchases, or dedicated mobile and connected-TV applications, a broader EYZFlow solution can be discussed for your requirements.
Optional AI-powered capabilities—including promotional content generation, artwork, clips and other Video Intelligence workflows—are available separately through AI Credits; they are not part of the essential storefront features included in the monthly subscription.
Your operational and legal responsibilities
As the storefront operator and seller of record, you remain responsible for:
- Film rights
- Applicable taxes
- Customer-facing legal terms
- Privacy policies
- Relevant licensing and collecting-society obligations, including GEMA where applicable
EYZFlow provides the technical platform and configuration tools to support your operations. Obtain legal advice where necessary.
Recommended next steps

- Review your catalogue and identify missing or unsuitable assets.
- Confirm the storefront, rental and payment requirements.

- Plan customer communications using only data you are permitted to use.
